The Echo Society VI: Family

Their sixth event, VI: FAMILY, unveiled original compositions by 21 Los Angeles-based composers and esteemed guests, delving into the thematic exploration of "Family." In a distinctive and immersive arrangement, each evening featured 7 different composers presenting and performing their original works concurrently, stationed in 7 distinct rooms within the historic Silver Lake Paramour Estate. The instrumentation predominantly comprised unamplified instruments, handpicked by the composers.

Throughout each captivating performance, attendees were encouraged to freely navigate the various rooms within the estate, embarking on a journey of discovery as they encountered the diverse and simultaneous musical expressions in each space. This pioneering approach elevated the VI: FAMILY event into a multi-sensory and interactive experience, challenging and redefining the conventions of the traditional concert setting.
